About the company
Amonil SA is a company, oriented towards satisfying the
needs of the Romanian agriculture producers with chemical fertilizers.
Company`s main products are: urea, ammonium nitrate, urea-ammonium nitrate
liquid fertilizers, are exported
in countries from Europe, Africa, America and Asia.
History
Founded in 1969, S.C. Amonil SA
Slobozia has maintained a steady rate of growth ever since thus becoming
the largest urea producer in Romania.
The most significant achievements in the process of modernization and
revamping have been following:
The revamping of old equipment in Kellogg ammonia plant with new,
improved one, allowing for recovery of residual heat, to be used in the city
heating process.
The replacement of the internal ammonia synthesis reactor in the Kellog
ammonia plant with new, cost effective one (Haldor-Topsoe license).
The refurbishment of the internal urea synthesis reactor Urea II plant
(Urea Casale license).
The replacement of ammonia and carbamat pumps in the Urea, plant with
new one, manufactured By Peroni.
The addition of the new internal ammonia Synthesis reactor in Sybetra
ammonia plant (Ammonia Casale license).
