About the company
Rompetrol Well Services SA (RWS) is a member company of Rompetrol NV Group since 2000,
specialized in well services for the extraction of crude oil and natural gas. RWS
offers specialized services in oil and natural gas fields at the national and
international level. These services include: cementing, consolidation
operations and casing operations, stimulations, testing, instrumentations, well
tubing operations, etc.
RWS cements an average of 500
drilling pipes annually, at depths between 500 and 4 500
m. Every year consolidation and casing operations are carried out for more than
200 oil and gas shafts and for the storage of natural gas.
Stimulation services include
activities starting from special nitrogen treatments and covering the rest of
specialized operations, to hydraulic fissure operations with supporting
material. Slick-line installation instrumentations and all size well tubing as
well as other specialized services, are offered to all operators in the oil
field in Romania
The
portfolio of services are designed through own
resources of the company and in close cooperation with our customers. All
necessary equipments, machines and chemical products are provided by RWS. The
company also lends out drilling tools.
Recently
RWS launched the third operational base in
RWS surveys all the projects in
development at its main office in Ploieşti, Romania, covering the technical
support for 17 locations in Romania, Kazakhstan Iraq and Jordan.
History
Rompetrol Well Services (RWS) - Petros has been
performing services on oil and gas fields in
Petros, the former state-owned Romanian Oilfield
Services Company was 100% privatized in February 2000, and integrated in the
vertical structure of the Rompetrol Group
. The company was renamed Rompetrol Well Services
(RWS) in September 2001, but it preserves the trademark “Petros” for all
services.
