About the company
SIF Muntenia SA is an entirely private and self-managed closed-end
fund. Successor of the Private Ownership Fund IV Muntenia, SIF Muntenia manages its own portfolio, which is made up of stocks in
approximately 288 Romanian companies. These companies are active in such
industries as construction, chemical and petrochemicals, agriculture, tourism,
commerce, food, research, real estate/rentals and others. The shareholders'
book is kept by REGISCO Bucharest, BRD - Groupe Societe Generale provides asset
management services and Muntenia Invest manages the fund's portfolio.
The
holding limit for an individual investor or a group is 1% of outstanding shares.
