About the company
Socep SA is a Romanian
port operator that offers stevedoring activities: loading-unloading, storing and forwarding for general cargoes (fertilizers and
chemical product, laminates, cereals, equipment) and container lashing services.
Socep
has conections with many other harbours of the world, with Central and Northen European
harbours, making concetions with this harbours through the Danube – Black Sea
Channel, Danube river and the Rhin – Main Channel, also through the road and
railway network. To achieve these activities the company organized itself in
two Terminals: The Containers’ Terminal and General Goods’ Terminal.
Socep terminal is the oldest one in the
History
The company was established in
1991.
1996 - Socep
become a private company.
2001 -
the company enclosed the Management of the Quality of its production, according
to the ISO 9001/2001 standard.
