  Effective November 1st, 2007, the Market in Financial Instruments Act and Ordinance No. 38 of the Financial Supervision Commission came into force. These regulatory acts specify the requirements for the activities of the investment intermediaries in Bulgaria. They are drawn up in compliance with the Directive 2004/39/EU of the European Parliament and the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID).
