The JAPAN 225 ETF Investment Fund was founded on 5 July 2006 under German law. The primary objective JAPAN 225 ETF is to track the performance of the Japanese economy as measured by the Japan 225. To achieve this objective, the fund will attempt to replicate the Japan 225 (price index) as closely as possible. The Japan 225 equity index comprises 225 companies from the Japanese economy. It is a globally recognised key index reflecting the performance of the Japanese equity market and consists of individual stocks from different sectors. The weighting on the Japan 225 is decided by price rather than by market capitalisation. The investment ratio is at least 95% of the value of the Investment Fund. The duplication ratio is at least 95% of the value of the Investment Fund. Bank balances and money market instruments may be acquired up to a maximum of 5% of the value of the Investment Fund.
