To open a live account and trade online on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange – Sofia (BSE) through Delta Broker, you have to sign a Contract for Brokerage Services with Deltastock Please, read the General Terms.

As a member of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange and the Central Depository, Deltastock offers you the option of trading Bulgarian corporate stocks, corporate bonds, compensatory financial instruments, mortgage bonds and municipal bonds, quoted on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange. Deltastock allows its clients to trade on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange through the proprietary Delta Broker platform.

Please note, that your Delta Broker Live account can be denominated in Bulgarian Lev (BGN) only! Since the adoption of the Currency Board in Bulgaria in 1997, the Bulgarian currency is pegged by the law to the Euro at the exchange rate of 1 EUR = 1.95583 BGN. The Currency Board mechanism is expected to be maintained until the joining of Bulgaria to the EMU in 2014 as scheduled.

Deltastock will convert all incoming EUR Bank Wire Transfers at the exchange rate of EUR/BGN = 1.9530.

Deltastock will apply the exchange rate of EUR/BGN = 1.9600 for funds withdrawal by the Clients via Bank Wire Transfers.

Trading Sessions on BSE – Sofia:

Trading sessions on the BSE-Sofia are held Monday through Friday, within the following trading hours:

09:00 – 09:20 EET – Pre-trading
09:20 – 09:30 EET – Opening auction
09:30 –10:50 EET – Continuous trading
10:50–11:00 EET - Intraday auction
11:00–13:40 EET - Continuous trading
13:40–13:45 EET - Closing auction
13:45–16:00 EET - Post-trading

* Offers (bids & asks) might be entered in the trading system from 9:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m.

The time zone in Bulgaria is EET – Eastern European Time – UTC/GMT + 2 hours.

Identification document requirements to open a live trading account:

Individual Clients:
• Valid, government-issued identity card or passport, bearing a recent photograph and signature;
• Driver’s License (for US and Japanese citizens only);
• Address proof, issued within the last 6 months;
• A power of attorney – when the contract is signed by a third party.

Institutional Clients:
• Court Registration;
• Memorandum and Articles of Incorporation;
• Current Certificate of good standing;
• Authorization of the company representative;
• Power of attorney – when the contract is signed by a third party;
• The original certificate or depository note, serving as a proof of ownership of securities;
• Identification document and an address proof of the authorized representative.
