Geir Larsen ranked 4th in the Forex Masters Contest for August. He is 41 years old, from Norway, a husband, and a father of three children. Mr. Larsen has a degree in Electro-Engineering and currently works in the Processing Industry.

His interest for the Forex market began in 2003. He trades as a hobby and states that it works perfectly with his occupation. The idea of becoming a professional Forex trader seems intriguing, but with a family to look after, the steady income from his job is crucial.

In 2003 Mr. Geir Larsen opened a Live account with Saxobank, after trading on a Demo account for a very short period.

After hearing about Deltastock Inc. through Google, around 6 months ago, Mr. Larsen opened a live account. He also has accounts with Saxobank, CMS-Forex, FXCM and others. Using mainly the Desktop version of the Delta Trading platform, he grades the platform as one of his favorites and is planning on depositing additional funds in the future. At the moment he is using it for more of a testing period.

Mr. Larsen defines his trading strategy as more of a long-term one. He likes to buy small amounts, if the price goes the wrong way, he buys more and sells on the way up, always buying crosses with positive rollover. He spends around 1-2 hours a day on trading. He uses technical analysis and looks for big drops to influence his trading decisions.

Evaluating himself as more of a conservative trader, participating in the Forex Masters contest hasn't seriously influenced his trading decisions. He remarks:

“Well, I never trade to win … if I win it’s mostly luck, my trading is long-term, and normally I make 50- 100% gain a year, I’m happy with that, but of course winning a contest is fun”.

When asked the question: “Do you have any recommendations and remarks about Deltastock Inc?”, his answer was: “No I think all is great right now, but more crosses are always welcome”.
