Slack Technologies and Gold Miners ETF now available for CFD trading

Slack Technologies (WORK) is a US company established in 2009 in Canada under the name Tiny Speck. In 2014 the company changed its name to the current one and moved to San Francisco. It develops the suite of cloud-based real-time collaboration applications Slack – messaging service, file and document sharing, etc. Additionally, Slack allows integration of other services like Google Drive, Dropbox, Trello, GitHub, etc. Slack is available as a computer application and on Android and iOS mobile devices.
It is worth noting that in the first day of the direct listing on NYSE, the shares of Slack rose 48% from the reference price of $26. At the end of the day they closed at $38.50, valuing the company at $19.47 billion.
Gold Miners (GDX) is one of the most popular exchange-traded funds (ETFs), representing the gold mining industry and aims to mirror the performance of an index composed of companies involved in the sector. Among them are Newmont Goldcorp Corp, Barrick Gold, Newcrest Mining, Kirkland Lake Gold, Royal Gold Inc. and others. The ETF also includes companies that mine other precious metals in addition to gold.
ETFs are securities that track an index, a commodity, bonds, or a basket of assets like an index fund. Unlike mutual funds, ETFs trade like common stocks on a stock exchange which makes them a relatively accessible financial instrument.
The CFD on the Slack shares is offered at a margin of 20% for retail and professional clients. The CFD on the Gold Miners ETF is offered at a margin of 10% for professional clients and 20% for retail clients.
