Why DeltaStock Pro?
Due to the regulatory requirements of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) that came into effect in August 2018, we had to change some of the trading conditions for our CFD products. This led to the introduction of restrictions and tighter protection for our retail clients because higher leverage is not suitable for this client category.
These restrictions, however, do not apply to professional clients who have more extensive trading experience and heightened risk appetite. Because of this, we now offer our professional clients separate trading conditions and unique benefits that are otherwise not available to our retail clients. These conditions include:
Benefit from leverage of up to 1:200 (0.5% margin) on some instruments
The Deltastock professional clients can trade FOREX pairs, indices, shares, precious metals, futures, and cryptocurrencies as CFD, with margin requirements lower than those for retail clients.
Take advantage of bonus programmes
Professional clients can sign up for various exclusive rebate programmes and take advantage of the different promotions that we offer.
Margin close-out rule
If the account balance drops below 50% of the required margin, the client’s position(s) will be closed automatically.
Premium access to our events
Professional clients will be the first to receive invitations to our special events and seminars.
Your funds are safe
All client funds are kept in a segregated bank account and cannot be used by Deltastock for other purposes.

As a professional client you will continue to benefit from our Best Execution policy in the same way as you did as a retail client.
How can you become a professional client?
Applicants must meet two of the three criteria below in order to apply for re-categorisation and become a professional client. We will assume that you have the necessary knowledge and experience in trading leveraged products and are well aware of the risks associated with this activity.
Here is what each of these three criteria includes in more detail:
Trading volume
In the last four quarters you have made an average of 10 trades of significant volume
Portfolio size
The total value of your investment portfolio, including that of financial instruments and cash deposits, exceeds €500 000
Professional experience
You work or have worked in the financial sector for at least one year in a professional position that requires knowledge of the relevant transactions or services.

- While Deltastock is required to restrict leverage to between 30:1 and 2:1 for retail client products, no such restrictions are in place for professional accounts. Please remember that higher leverage can often work against you and amplify your losses.
- Deltastock will not be required to provide you with the current risk warnings or any other future warnings in relation to transactions involving complex financial products.
- Your assets will no longer be guaranteed by the Investor Compensation Fund.
